AzTAP does not profit from the sale of listed devices.

AzTAP does not warrant the condition or terms of sale of any device offered for reutilization by an existing owner under the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange. AzTAP shall not be liable for any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including but not limited to settlements, judgments, court costs and reasonable attorney's fees) fines and penalties, arising out of any actual or alleged injury, loss, or damage of any nature whatsoever in connection with the sale or use of any device purchased, sold or donated under the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange. It shall be the responsibility of the seller to provide accurate and detailed information about the device's specifications and condition to any buyer or recipient in the case of donated items. AzTAP functions solely as an information-sharing communication channel and will not be involved in financial transactions or issues regarding shipping of items between buyers and sellers..

AzTAP reserves the right to edit or refuse listings based on the item description and condition. Listings must be refreshed every 90 days. If the listing has not been updated, it is automatically removed. Contact information is coded for Program use only. If you list an item on the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange, your first name and an automatically generated ItemID number will also appear in the newsletter/printable version of the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange. By accepting these terms, you agree to hold harmless the Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP) should you experience a problem with any transaction arising from the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange.

The Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange recommends that users check with the funder or provider of your piece of assistive technology prior to listing to ensure that you have the right to sell, exchange or give the equipment away.  In most cases assistive technology purchased or provided by a third party (e.g. such as medical insurance, charitable groups, state agencies, etc.) become the property of the user.  However, in some cases the assistive technology item must be returned to the funder or provider company when it is no longer needed or being used.  By posting assistive technology items with the Arizona Assistive Technology Exchange, I confirm I have the right or am authorized to sell or give the equipment away.
